The lPIXMA-160 Multifunctional Inkjet printer has worked very well for all phases of my personal and business activities. Recently, when I upgraded to Windows 7 (64 bit) a Cannon teck sent me a very understgandable EMaIL ON HOW TO UPGRAdE the driver TO WINDOWS 7 AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY. I did have to reload the disk to get the Copier function and the manual on the computer but that worked out very well.
Thank you for mfg such a great printer!

Not bad while it lasted Date: October 31, 2009
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed, High Ink Consumption, unreliable, a record of paper feed issues (check the internet)

This printer worked pretty well for 2-1/2 years, but then ran into major paper feed issues. It would grab multiple sheets at once and jam. So we started loading only one sheet, but eventually it got so it would not load the one sheet most of the time. It would complain about a jam without loading the paper even a little.

Prior to that, I was generally happy, except that ink usage seemed overly high, the output was not always aligned (despite going through alignment procedures), and the beginning of a print cycle (or resetting an error, like out of paper of paper jam--even when the jam was a non-feed situation) was often very slow.

overall good workhorse Date: October 5, 2009
Pros: fast print speed, Low Ink Consumption, reliable
Cons: Heavy/Bulky

One of the most reliable all-n-one printer/scanners I've had. Initially had problems when I used it with an Apple laptop. To the person who blamed lack of page numbers on the MP160 - that is a user error not the fault of the printer.

Jack of all trades, value for money! Date: September 10, 2009
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: High Ink Consumption

My other AIO printer from other manufacturer bonked down, and was in need of a cheap replacement AIO. Glad I made the right choice with this one. Good scanning capabilities and printing for home use. Best of all, it doesn't cost a bomb.
