Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use
Easy to use and great color quality. I love the bucket and how easy it is to travel with. I take mine to scrapbooking crops. I do wish you could "flip" throught the pics while it prints. You just have to sit and do nothing while it prints. I love the way it adds the color to the pics one layer at a time. I think the print speed is fine and the quality is great!
I've used this printer for several years now and have no reservations about its quality. I only order the printing paper/cartridges online and I get some great buys. For me, online buying is not a problem. The only drawback to this printing system is the output size of the picture; I wish Canon would produce a printer so formats larger than 4 X 6 could be produced. I am very enamored of the Dye Sublimation Thermal Transfer process. The pictures come out neat and clean. The only other drawback, though minor, is that heat buildup stops the printer until it cools.
We took this "bucket" printer on our America tour and it worked perfectly every time. We not only left mementos behind, but documented our trip with numerous postcards to friends and family. The only downside was the lack of postcard paper, stores not selling the KP-108IP (postcard stock) and substituting the KP-108IN (photo paper stock) instead.

Pros: Compact Design
Cons: High Ink Consumption, you can not buy ink cartridge seperately, canon should make a cartridge to last @ least a mo
I like the product, but the problem I have is you can not but the ink cartridge by it self and it does not let you print enough photo's with the ink cartridge you buy.

Pros: Lightweight/Portable, easy to use, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: unavailable assessories
I agree that this is a great printer, easy to use, and produces good results. I also agree, unfortunately, that it is nearly impossible to find Paper/Ink Sets in stores and I, too, ended up ordering online.
