so far we have had this plotter for about 3 years. most of which was printhead errors or total printer failure. it plots paper good, when its adjusted all the lines seem to be crisp. but weve had a lot of problems with ours specifically printheads. canon support is good about replacing them especially when we went through like 2 in 6 months and we dont plot a ton either. so thats an upside. had canon support not been so good i dont know how long this thing would have lasted here.

Pros: High Quality Output
Cons: unreliable
I have had the plotter for over four years. I plot about 200 24x36 sheets per year. The plot quality is good. However, if an ink tank is out, say a color cartridge, it bugs down all the others too and you cannot even plot a blackline drawing. Also the error messages can pop up at any time and leave you high and dry without sufficient guidelines in the manual to help you resolve them. I am disappointed in the quality of this product.

Cons: no network drivers only direct print drivers
Sadly Canon does not make drivers to print via print servers, only direct print.

Pros: super easy set, small foot print, great manuals, high quality prints, very easy to use, build in network, single printhead
Cons: poster print doen't work on 64 bit windows
Great image quality, lower overall operating cost vs the printer it replaced. One hour from the time I open the pallet to my first print.

Cons: does not print correctly
I greatly dislike this machine because it does not print what I see. I will window an area to print and the preview shows it as "landscape" but when I send it to the plotter then it prints "portrait" which cuts off half the print. This is a huge waste of paper!!!
It should print what I see.
