I received this camera as a birthday present when I was in seventh grade and it has been a keepsake ever since. Its numerous settings allow beginners to point and shoot, while experienced photography enthusiasts might toggle with the multiple exposure or macro settings. It has auto focus for such things as portraits, but for your more artistic side, it has manual focus, as well. The flash is bright and effective. The photos I have gotten from it have always been clear, bright, and beautiful. This is the best film gets.
Note: I'm not sure about price/value, because I received this as a gift.

Pros: excellent image quality, Nice custom functions, Superior build quality, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold, Good light-metering, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
This was the first 35mm camera that I bought. It has taken thousands of pictures!! It was used mostly for home pictures but was also used to capture the softball games when I was a coach. BEST PICTURES! Now I have gone digital and would like to sell it to a good home;) If not, then I will keep it and use it from time to time.

I recevied this as a gift over 10 years ago and I still use it today. I have a digital camera but nothing can compare to my 35mm. I often get better pictures with my 35mm than my digital camera which is a Canon also. I'm sure that other camera brands are great but I will only buy Canon cameras. They are simple to use, very light weight, and take amazing photgraphs.

Reliable, Simple. We use and love this camera when we don't want digital.
