EOS Digital Rebel
Date: November 15, 2009
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Solid Operation, easy to use
Cons: Slow Start-up time, battery life could be better
I have had the Digital Rebel since it first came out several years ago and have nothing but praise for it. The quality of the pictures is incredible. I have used the camera mostly in the Full Auto mode and it has performed superbly. But every time I have used the various Manual settings it has worked exactly as I wanted. I could not give higher praise for a product. I also have the Rebel 2000 35mm film camera and it's a great combination since all of my lenses are interchangeable. I love the Canon EOS Series whether film or digital format. The digital camera was a little pricey when it first came out but I'm still a very happy camper!

Awsome Digital Camera
Date: October 20, 2009
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Solid Operation, easy to use, good battery life
Cons: Heavy/Bulky
I am a semi-pro shooting weddings and graduations. I always used the Rebel EOS with great results. The Rebel EOS Digital is wonderful. Easy to use, takes terrific pictures and I can use all of my old lenses. The only con is that it is big and heavy, but the awsome quality of the pictures makes it so much better than the small lightweight digital cameras. Another con is that you need the Canon software to download pictures, you can't just plug it into any PC, but the software is easily downloadable from the Canon web site. I have the 6mp and it is just perfect. I give Canon two thumbs up.

Best Camera Purchase I Ever Made
Date: July 14, 2009
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Nice features/settings, quiet, Solid Operation, easy to use
I have a 35mm Canon Rebel with some extra lenses, so I wanted to get the digital camera so I wouldn't have to buy new lenses. I got it in February of 2005, and never looked back! I have 3 battery packs so I never run out. My two sisters were impressed enough with my camera that that they both bought the digital Rebel. Mine is a 6 megapixel, theirs are each 10 megapixels, but I can't tell the difference in picture quality; perhaps a professional could. The only downside to my camera is not having the picture preview lcd. Maybe I'll upgrade one day! I love this camera!

Rebel purchase
Date: June 24, 2009
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life
Back in 2004 I purchased the Canon Rebel (of course about a week before the xt came out) I must say that this has been one purchase I am overly satisfied with. In the almost 5 years I have had this camera I have had no problems with it other than an occasional auto focus. (The camera will focus on the closest object when the object of my photo will be farther away) This problem is fixed quickly by a flip of a switch to manual focus, then back to auto. I want to thank Canon for bringing the digital slr camera to a price range for the NORMAL camera bug. Since then others have tried to follow but for the price and the quality a Canon product can not be beat. Thank you again Canon
