Cons: unreliable, High Ink Consumption
The printer worked great until the ink absorber was full. Now it looks like I'll have to get it serviced. Because it is out of warranty, I'm sure the cost of this will exceed the price of a new printer. Rest assured that I will think several times before buying another Canon. It probably will have a secret ink absorber that, when full, will automatically shut down the printing.

I have had my Pixma 130 now for 5 years. It has never given me a bit of problem. I never get paper jams, the ink is reasonable and I have no complaints. Like I said, I have been running this machine now for 5 years. Today I just re-installed it because I re-formatted my hard drive and had to re-install everything else.
I would look for the Pixma name again if I ever found myself needing another printer.

Cons: tricky paper feed
This is an excellent printer. It's quick, quiet, and relatively reliable. Printouts are very good, and photo prints are excellent, with or without photo paper. (although photo paper gives a more professional look)
The paper feed is a bit tricky. Paper must be canted a little in order to feed properly and consistantly.
I've had this printer for aproximately 6 yrs and the paper feed is the only problem I've had with it.
Would I recomend this printer to freinds? YOU BET!

Paper alignment is faulty. needs full evaluation to improve.

I have owned my Canon Pixma MP130 multi-function printer for some time now with great results and satisfaction. I have been tinkering with computers since the release of DOS 3.0 and this has been one of the best printers for the money that I have owned. It has not been babied, taken care of like it should have been. I just throw it in the corner and it works. The print cartridges are very nably priced and the functions are very usable on the model. I have been very pleased and would recommend this printer to anyone wanting a multi-fuction printer that is priced right and cheap to operate.

Looking for a great all in one look no further then this. I love this printer because I take a lot of pictures and I just put the memory card in the printer and go.

The scanner works great! The printer, not so good.
Cartridges jam, black ink runs out in about 20 text prints. Color cartridges will run out in about 10 prints. Stay away from it.

The user guide, and manual don't give me specific answers to trouble shoot the printer, I have a cartridge jam and I can't find any reference to it.
