GREAT ALL PURPOSE PRINTER
Date:March 11, 2009
Pros: easy to use, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
This is my favorite printer. Great pictures. Nice features all around. If you are looking for a multi-purpose printer with many great features including printing great pictures than this is the printer to have. This model does not have faxing, but does have duplexing. Great product.
Bought this for small office work over four years ago and it has worked flawlessly up until recently. To do it over I would buy it again because for the price I've gotten more than my money's worth. Best features are crisp pictures on photo paper, 2-side printing, beautiful all-purpose document printing, and multiple scanning and copying features. Photo printing on plain paper is not very sharp, though, you really need photo paper. I've loaded this up with CD labels, photo paper, plain paper and set the computer & printer to print all night, and the next morning everything is done perfectly if it hasn't run out of paper. Even the ink cartridges are not expensive when bought in value packs: $10-$20 each. Don't use off-brand ink in it, and if you get a paper jam that you can't reach (and some jams are very inaccessible), read the manual before tilting the printer because tilted the wrong way the ink cartridges can leak internally.
