Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance
I had this camcorder since it first came out in 2005 and I still use it to record my daughter's performances. It's so light and versatile. Very very easy to use, and I love the feature of changing the setting from a video recorder to a camera, which the camera has a good resolution. The battery fully charged will last for about an hour, which is longer than I would expect from a camcorder. Although it uses tape cartridges for recording, I could put an 8G card in the card slot and it easily will record onto the disk. Can't ask for more from a camcorder for a novice user.

THE SOUND IS FABULOUS ON THE LITTLE MACHINE AND THE EASE OF SWITCHING FROM VIDEO TO STILL SHOTS IS UNBEATABLE AT ANY COST.
