Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Low Ink Consumption, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use
I have this printer several years, and it's an absolute great printer. It's a work horse, and has worked flawlessly through the homework assignments my kids have had. High quality printout, and since wireless, I can put it anywhere in house. This is an excellent example of Canon's attention to details and high quality standards.

Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, Low Ink Consumption, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
I have to say that this is one of the best printers that I have owned since my HP Photosmart from 1998! It sets up very easily, works with a Mac and PC reallllly easy and it uses very little ink. Its durable and the wirelss is incredible. I have no wires around the house with my Macbook and iMac and it matches the colors exactly! Ya can't buy it anymore, but get the next model or get one of Ebay, you will love it.

Pros: durable, Easy Setup, fast print speed, Sharp Tones & Colors, network ability
Cons: expensive ink $$
Very nice printer. Perfect photo prints with good photo paper. Networking ability is such a plus with laptops. The only bad thing I can say is that the inks are expensive. I think they are overpriced for what you get. Other than that I would recommend this printer especially if you want the convenience of networking and excellent photo prints.

Pros: durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, Low Ink Consumption, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors, wireless b/g, driver options such as auto on off, separate ink tanks for each color
Cons: Large Footprint, Heavy/Bulky
I replaced an aging Epson Stylus Color 740 printer with this Canon ip5200r and what a difference 5 or so years in ink jet technology can make. The first thing I noticed, is better color, and a finer print quality. I think that my favorite feature of this printer would have to be the wireless printing capability. I also found that other features such as quiet mode, and auto on and off are included through the driver as well as many other options. The printer is reliable, and even weathered a hard drop during a recent home move, and keeps working as the first day I owned it. Photo print quality is great and normal print duties are handled day in and day out without any problems. The included easy photo print is a no-brainer software, that is simple to use to select which photos you want to print and to what type and size of paper you want to print on. The printer is a tad bit heavier than the previous Epson, and seems a bit wider, but those minor flaws I would trade any day for the uncompromising dependability that this printer provides. I know that this review likely won't be seen by many since I don't think Canon makes this model any longer, but I felt that I've owned this model long enough, and have had enough experience with it to realize what a great product is it and to make a recommendation to other buyers if they can still find it.
