Pros: Compact Design, excellent image quality, Easy TV Connectivity, Easy Computer Connectivity, Accurate, Vivid Colors, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold, easy to use, Good Software Compatibility
Cons: Short battery life
Unfortunate that 2 of the 4 reviews so far "diss" this camera because it's SPECTACULAR! Battery life *is* a little short but remedied by taking along a couple of spares. Recording time? Ditto but greatly improved by not shooting everything at max quality (but that's hard to do because the camera takes such STUNNING video!) Low light performance greatly enhanced by even the weakest of video lights! Bottom line: Overlook the negatives and concentrate on the positives and you'll be thrilled with this model!

Pros: excellent image quality, Easy Computer Connectivity, Accurate, Vivid Colors, good battery life, Great sound/audio, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold
Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance
This camera takes great photos and movies. One charging of the battery gives me over an hour of time. My only complaint is the self timer feature. It has to be reset each time you take a picture, which is very cumbersome. The panoramic mode is awesome!

Cons: Difficult TV Connectivity, Difficult Computer Connectivity, Short battery life, Difficult to use, Limited Software Compatibility, Poor Low-Light Performance
other then only being able to record with the standard BP 208 battery for 15 to 20 min actual record time......
the small complex button layout....that will take you months to learn there correct functions
the inability to focus on objects at longer distances , both in video and photo modes..
the roxio software incompatablity for both windows XP and Vista......without upgrading your computer speed and graphics drivers
the USB computer connection....that is 100 x's slower then fire wire connection found on most all other makes and models of other camcorders, making for Hours to down load your videos...
and various othe small clitches...such as
the small relief peep site for those who do not wish to use the LCD screen...ect..ect...ect.....
and by the way If you use the back up lighting the 15 to 20 min record time is cut in half.
IF you have perfect eye site...great dexterity in your fingers and hands ....you will also need about 5 to 7 back up batteries to cover a standard football game from start to finish, along with 3 or 4 preformated disc. to record to...
Now other then that this camcorder is OK
