I have been in love with my scanner for a few years now. I can't live without it - scanning receipts, schedules, to be used as an e-mail fax, etc. Of course, I scan some pictures too.

Pros: Compact Design, durable, easy to use, High-speed scanning, High resolution
This is my 4th Canon Scanner. They last for many years. My kids each have their own & use them weekly for school. I use mine to scan 25-50 Documents each month. Quality of the Scan's is outstanding & Speed is very impressive.
Had an issue with one. Canon replaced it in a few days. Superior Customer Service & Products. I Highly Recommend 'any' Canon Product. I've owned several different Canon [product line] items over the years. Craftsmanship & Product Reliability are #1.

Pros: Compact Design, durable, easy to use, High-speed scanning, Fast Connectivity, High resolution, can be used with a netbook
I've used many scanners and I must say this is the easiest scanner to operate. I've scanned documents, magazine articles, and 20 year old photographs and each time I've been 100% satisfied. The toolbox software makes it so simple, a child can use it. All you do is set it up, and use the easy buttons on the front. I use it with my netbook (which does not have a cd-rom) and I like the fact I can download the drivers and software from the Canon website to make it work. Thanks Canon! PS I love my Canon digital camera as well.

I am using this product over 5 years. First I had CanoScanLIDE 20 and I loved it. Well at that time is was great but now it is bit slow. So I got the new one CanoScanLIDE 70. I love it. Sleek design, easy to carry just like carriying a laptop and I even traveled several times around the world. Many thought I was carrying double laptop. I used it so many times and I got the money back. I am still using it and works great without any fail. One great thing is I do not have to carry another power adapter, just plug in USB port and thats all.

Pros: Compact Design, easy to use, Fast Connectivity
Nice small portable scanner ... no need for a power adapter as it gets it's power through the USB 2 cable. Great interface and relatively quick scan speed for a economy model. Previous reviewer dissed scanner for not scanning legal size but the technical specifications clearly specify letter size pages.
Good quality scanner for a fair price.

Pros: Compact Design, durable, easy to use
When I work on the road (and at home as well) this scanner completes my office equipment. Along with a laptop and printer, you have it all. Excellent for most light office duties; you won't need a print shop to get your work out or to file receipts, etc.
Works with my Vista software also and does not require a separate power supply - just connect to your laptop or desktop for power.

Pros: Compact Design, easy to use, Fast Connectivity, High resolution, straight to pdf format
Cannon toolbox is the most convenient way to scan ANYTHING! It is text detection, straight to PDF, high res color photo + enhancements, and much more. It's the most you can get for your money.
I recently upgraded to Vista in December 08', and it works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions (all Vista OS's). To the reviewer "Unusable", just click on the "Drivers" tab, and select your OS!

Pros: Compact Design, easy to use
Cons: no drivers for vista can't use it.
I loved my scanner until I got a new computer at Christmas that has Windows Vista operating system. Now I can't even use the scanner because Canon has not made a driver that is compatible with Vista for this model. Too bad, because we bought two of these scanners and we can't use either one of them. I sure hope Canon gets busy with the drivers since Vista has been out for a while and their list of Vista drivers is not all that long. Canon, please hurry. Your customers are waiting. I would recommend this product to XP users but not Vista. You can't hardly buy a computer now that doesn't have Vista already loaded.
