Pros: Compact Design, excellent image quality, Accurate, Vivid Colors, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold, easy to use, Good Software Compatibility, Good Low-Light Performance, av jack can be used for mono headphone
Cons: Difficult Computer Connectivity, Short battery life, Poor sound/audio, no accessory shoe
Bought this camera for personal use and ended up using it for so many things. Got hooked on video prodution/post-production because of this camera. It works as a video deck when connected to my pc over firewire, plays nice with AVID, FCP, After effects and Premire. The only thing that I can't seem to get it to do is accept an exported video from editing software. Image quality is almost as good as the GL 1 in most situations. Must haves for this camera Extra battery pack and off camera charger, video tripod, and a better microphone.
