This is a really nice looking machine but is way too complicated to operate menu features and is constantly coming up with new ways to frustrate me and waste my time :-(

This machine is a constant problem.. It is a low use machine. It constantly needs to be re-programed. The user guide is not complete. My other cannon products are great, which is why I am very disapointed

Pros: inexpensive
Cons: Slow recycling time
My biggest problem is that the fax has to recycle between sending faxes or copies. This creates a long wait when you have to send a few faxes, all to different locations.

This machine looks great but seems to malfunction in new and creative ways each time I use it. Its good looks are augmented by few buttons, which means the navigation to all the functions is amazingly complicated because you have to root around to get to function with the use of only a few buttons. Worst of all, it frequently stops working, giving error messages, or it will spontaneously pick up on the phone line for no reason (while I'm talking). Also, because the paper feeder and intake slots are so close, it will sometimes suck in blank pages in the midst of an outgoing fax, and fax those blank pages along with the intended fax. Really quite bad.

cannot set up with answering machine, all machines answer on two rings, directions incredibly confusing as in menu, have to be a genius to understand, would never buy this again.
