Pros: Compact Design, durable, easy to use, High-speed scanning, Fast Connectivity, High resolution, great for travel, portable
After having many scanners of another brand go down, I purchased this at an office products store on sale--good price, slim and lightweight, just what I need to travel with a netbook for research.
I was not disappointed. In over a year, no problems, it has never failed, the software has never glitsched, in short, total satisfaction, a rarity in this techincal era.

The Linde90 is a well designed and built product that produces excellent quality at a reasonable price. when my Linde90 wears out, I will purchase another just like it.

Man, for the price you just couldn't ask for anything better. (I still remember when flatbeds that created this high image quality cost ten thousand dollars!)

Pros: Compact Design, durable, Fast Connectivity, High resolution, High-speed scanning
Cons: mediocre software
I've had this scanner for years, it never ceases to please me. Great scans, fantastic resolution. It is actually pretty fast at lower resolution (300 dpi or less). Very high resolution scans of large photos takes longer, obviously, but the results are fantastic.
I recomend using this scanner in TWAIN mode, not WIA mode. The image quality is considerably better in TWAIN. Scanning white documents in WIA mode result in greyish background.

Pros: Compact Design, durable, easy to use
Cons: Slow-speed scanning
Pros: small size, easy set up, usb powered, durable, good form factor Cons: somewhat slow scanning
Had this scanner for quite a while - it's a workhorse. It is not as fast as other scanners and does not have a sheet feeder, but it is what it is - a quality flatbed scanner. If you're not planning to scan reams of paper, this is a good choice for the tiny $ you'll pay for it.

Pros: easy to use, Fast Connectivity, High resolution
Cons: Slow-speed scanning
2 yrs old and still working fine. Somewhere between 5,000 and 10,000 scans so far. The only thing I don't like is the time between scans when doing multiple pages and using the famous .pdf software. It is about 40 seconds from page to page. Using the provided software is quicker, but the files are larger in size.

Pros: Compact Design, durable, easy to use, High-speed scanning, Fast Connectivity
Cons: cannot adjust for resolution higher than 300dpi.
This is a lightweight scanner that performs extremely well for an extended period of time. It is small enough to be portable - you can carry it with you to the library! It is also powered via the USB port, which adds to its portability. Scan-time is fast, I've been able to use this item heavily (at least several times per day) for over a year, still runs like new.

I had a LiDE35 scanner, which works great, and reliable. I then bought this LiDE90, after a couple of months use, it stopped working, the lamp stopped moving during scanning.

For the basic needs of the home, this scanner is great. It is small, easy to travel with and best of all it is easy to use.
