For the price you're paying it's a really good camera. Though, the price can be a bit lower.

Pros: excellent image quality, Easy Computer Connectivity, Accurate, Vivid Colors, Great sound/audio, durable, excellent flexibility/open architecture
Cons: ok low light performance, could use a higher resolution lcd/viewfinder
Image quality out of this camera is SUPERB, especially when recording from the uncompressed HD-SDI port. I shot a film with this camera outfitted with a professional 35mm adapter along with PL mount cine primes and recorded the RAW straight to a hard disk RAID system. The footage is easily better than most camcorders out there, certainly more than good enough for a film transfer.

im the filmer, editer, and the only tech. guy for a web show. this camcorder makes all my wook so much easyer. it has every setting you need, and you can buy a lot of different lens and UV ray protecters for it.
