Pros: Easy Setup, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, easy to use, fast scanning
Cons: Slow Print Speed
I had no problems whatsoever like others installing software. Maybe that was because I use Windows 7. This printer makes outstanding prints and pictures. Perhaps it is because I am used to inkjet. It scans super fast. I was tired of inkjets clogging the ports on other inkjet printers. The only two minor annoyances is sometimes it will stop in the middle of printing to "align" itself and if you are scanning from acrobat, you have to go to the printer first and click on scan from outside source ad then go back to the computer to start the scan in acrobat. But the good price and high quality printing makes up for everything. It has 4 recessed well constructed openings for your hands/figners to lift/move the printer which was thoughtful. Unfortunately I only have it 1 or 2 months so I can't attest to reliability over the long haul. I am buying a second one right now for home use.

Cons: Slow Print Speed, Difficult Setup, unreliable
I've used several Canon ImageClass printers, both at work and at home. I wanted a color multifunction printer and decided to go with a Canon because of my previous EXCELLLENT experiences.
I must say customer support has been most helpful, but that doesn't make up for the connectivity issues I keep experiencing. I gave on wireless, and USB is flaky. Maybe it's a Windows 8 issue, but everytime my computer goes to sleep, I need to disconnect/reconnect my USB cable in order to print (and, yes, the computer does see the printer before I do this). Trying to scan is a nightmare. I have to turn of the printer, restart my computer, then try to scan.
Avoid this model. If I had been aware before my 30 days had expired, I would have returned this to the dealer.
When it does print, the quality is top-notch.

This has got to be the worst printer I have ever used, I have tried and tried and tried to get the scan to work, no dice, it takes at least 5 mins for it to print even after I press energy saver. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, if it is free use it as a paper wait. Awful awfull awfull!!!

This copier has serious and consistent problems keeping a wireless connection. Junk. I am highly agitated as it screens and use is not intuitive. Poor programming in my opinion. I would not recommend this model.

Pros: Small Footprint
Cons: Slow Print Speed
We've had this for about three months. It just took 19 minutes to print a 12 page Word document that was just text. It has always been this slow.
The user interface is counter intuitive as well. Sometimes to press one button to fax a document, sometimes you press a different one to fax.
It was also sent to us with a broken toner cartridge that required two trips to the repair place to get somewhat fixed. (we're not supposed to open the cartridge drawer until they're all empty).
And despite how big the printer is, the paper tray has quite low capacity.

After1 week, I only have positive experiences to share. This device has been easy to set up with 4 computers on my wireless home network, Connections are immediate and continuous with a variety of Windows OS versions. Because I had exemplary service from a previous Canon Laser home printer, this was my first choice. So far, there are only good results. Images are sharp from the scanner. Output delivery is quick, both for printing and scans.

I am sorry to say that the imageCLASS MF8080Cw is constantly losing its wireless connection to my computer. This has become very frustrating and disappointing. Thanks to the Canon support team, I can easily re-connect, but having to do so just about every day is annoying.

Pros: best techical support ever., excellent prints copies and scans.
Cons: sometimes lose wireless connection.
The Canon ImageCLASS MF8080Cw is a very good multifunction laser printer .My one frustration is that I have had some problems with losing the wireless connection with my computer, which is a McBookPro, but having talked with Canon technicians, I now can re-connect easily. The print results are excellent The copy results and the scan results are also excellet (especially color). I have not used the fax, and probably never will. The absolutely best part of this purchase is the technical support by Canon, which is phenomenal! I can't say enough about how helpful they have been!

The fax on this machine when set to auto answer has trouble recognizing a phone call from a fax call. As a result within 30 seconds up to 3 minutes your phone calls get cut off as the machine thinks it is a fax call. Very annoying and Canon have replaced this machine but the problem still exists.
