I have been using a Canon, for 21 years now. I developed my first roll of film from one and swore up and down I'd never switch to digital, at least for photography. I went to film school in 2005 and realized, sadly, that film was no longer going to be a reality. I visited my high school and the dark room was filled with computers, no more developer, no more hiding in the dark for 1st period or ditching social studies to watch the magic of the developer... Now, I get the instant excitement of transferring data and watching the magic right before my eyes; I am more amazed by what I have captured in the last 3 days of using this camera underwater with the Aqatica housing.... than I can remember, ever. This is truly an inspiring piece of equipment, it preforms at the level I have always wanted. I am truly blessed to have one and if you can't get the C500, this is the next best thing. Thank you Canon. My only Complaint is that I don't have enough hard drive space, but that't not really Canon's fault ;)
