Cons: Low Quality Output, unreliable, canon was no help to me.
I received this printer, brand new, not refurbed, with a defective printhead. I have never been able to obtain a good print head, nor have I ever been able to produce a print that even approximates the color balance of the original. I have used Canon imaging software and Photoshop to no avail. Hundreds of dollars down the drain. I shot professionally with Canon cameras(film), lenses and other products; this was the only reason I chose the S9000. I'm disappointed by Canon for the first time.

Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, Sharp Tones & Colors, up to 13x19 print sizes
Cons: Large Footprint, Heavy/Bulky, High Ink Consumption, can't specify use of black cartidge for black only
Was looking for a printer that could print commercially available paper and in a "large format" without paying for a large format printer. Prints perfectly from 4x6 up to 12.5x19 papers. type is clear and crisp. pictures print sharp with no runoff or smudging in bright vibrant color. Cons-although it can be set to conserve ink when printing color it doesn't try to conserve. Also, no way to force it to use black cartidge for black only text.
