Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice custom functions, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold, Good light-metering
I bought my EOS3 used from a Professional who was selling his and I think this is a wonderful camera. I own a Cannon 50D as well, but I'm still a purist at heart and love to shoot on film. This camera is easy to use and operate, I LOVE IT. My only problem I wish I had bought one sooner!!!

This was my second Canon 35mm, and it was even better than I expected. Metering always right on, controls are easy to use, auto focus is accurate.

The EOS 3 was my first entry into the EOS world after using AEs with FD lenses for years. This is truly a remarkable camera for the price with tons of professional features. The eye control focus works flawlessly and is a must have for the sports photography enthusiast. Team this up with a IS lens and any sport from auto racing to skiing to air shows is in your control. It is extremely easy to use, durable and never lets you down. If film were the only medium this would still be my primary camera. I have since upgraded to 2 digital cameras. (EOS SLR and Powershot) I urge Canon to carry over eye control to a digital SLR model.
