From the small camcorders this might be the most "professional". I already have two of these because I love not only doing videos but I learned to edit and I am using one as a deck for my apple computer. But I also use it with my PC and the camera connects perfectly. The image I get is so good that in one occasion when I did a video for a local governmental TV channel, their images looked so yellowish and ugly compared to mine that they couldn't insert their images obtained with their supposed "professional' video cameras! The Elura is very easy to use and has the advantage of the white balance which brings a much better color for the video; and the sound is stereo!!! The still pictures are not as good and I think it is because this was one of the first camcorders that came with the still pictures feature. The second Elura I bough belonged to a couple who use to hunt and said the camera won't help because it was too noisy, and it is true; she talks!!!! so I bought the camera from them thanking that it warned innocent animals from being killed!! I also think the brand of this camera is definitely one of the best for video, plus I got a really amazing service repairing my first camera when I made the mistake of taking it to a local technician for maintenance. Canon is Canon, and if I were to buy another, with no doubt I would buy this brand again. No, I have not money into this company, I wish I would!!!!
