Pros: works like a champ for documents and slides
I upgraded to the 8400F a couple of years ago. It does a great job on documents, slides and negatives. Great scanner for home.

Pros: Compact Design, durable, Fast Connectivity, High resolution, High-speed scanning, easy to use
This scanner scans slides in good quality and works well with adobe photo shop elements.I don't use the Correction tools that come with the driver.
