Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, good build, excellent photos
Cons: Short battery life
Bought this camera in Dec 2000, have used it ever since (12 years!), took tens of thousands of photos and videos and through all this time has not failed me a single time, not one time!
The design, body, lens, display, user interface, reaction speeds, and above all - the resulting photos are superb - even by 2012's standards!!! This is a superb product which lasts much beyond the designers' (and my) expectations!!!!
Although I bought other cameras, all which are newer and more advanced I remain faithful to my G1 and will for as long it will stay by me!
