Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, durable
I bought this camera new forever ago along with the waterproof case. It's been around the world and continues to amaze me. Always works and takes good pictures when I need a camera that can take a quick picture in adverse conditions.
I recently bought a PowerShot S110 and overall I have been very impressed with it, if you are not used to using a camera that is capable of using manual settings this will take you a little time to get used to it even though it does have a full automatic mode I have only found three things about the camera that I do not like I would prefer a next strap . Instead of a wrist strap, when taking pictures in the bright sunlight it is hard to see the object or taking a picture of because of glare, but the biggest complaint I have is that the lens cover is an automatic cover instead of a manual cap . I have had my camera for two months iand this cap Is already malfunctioning . Only a little bit just enough to leave a dark spot in the corner of the picture that I am taking in other words the cap Is not fully opening

I have carried this camera around the world in my jacket pocket, without a case for quick use. 1000's of pictures have been taken. Never a problem!

Pros: Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, good battery life, durable
Cons: Difficult to use, Complicated controls/menu
It is not for a novice photographer like me who just wants to take pictures of her grandkids and be able to zoom in and take continuous sport action pictures. It is too complicated, or at least the instructions are, to understand. There is not simple way to get from one thing to another in the book. It refers you to page 93 then states you may want to check page 42, etc. It may be easy to use but I need someone to interept the book for me. It is not for the average layman.
