I hardly use my camcorder, so you'd think it would work perfectly when I DO use it. Wrong. It's been returned to cannon twice (no picture). Now I'm about to return it AGAIN, because I have no sound during playback. Very frustrating.

Pros: Compact Design, excellent image quality, Easy TV Connectivity, Easy Computer Connectivity, Accurate, Vivid Colors, good battery life, Great sound/audio, easy to use, Good Software Compatibility, excellent image stabilization
Cons: slightly hard to hold
I've used this camera for years, running many many tapes through it. It's quiet, has excellent variable speed 10x optical zoom, progressive scan, excellent image stabilization, firewire, still storage on SD cards. I'm quite happy with it. With my large hands, it took a while to develop a comfortable grip. I've always babied it, and it's always worked for me.
