Pros: excellent quality, wide range of settings, good sound options, good vibration damping
Cons: not for the amatuer
Nice camcorder with solid feel and lots of manual settings for a multitude of situations. Accepts external mic, etc., for optimum sound, has nice features like wind noise suppression for in-car situations. Nice W/A - Zoom parameters.

Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Great sound/audio, Accurate, Vivid Colors, Compact Design, excellent image quality, durable, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold
Cons: Difficult Computer Connectivity, Difficult to use, Short battery life, Limited Software Compatibility
I purchased this product because I believe in the Canon committment to quality. However, This product is not intuitive. It is difficult for me to use and understand.
