Pros: Fast auto-focus
Cons: bad in low light
This is a great lens for the price. A few of my 4 star ratings should be 3.5's, but over all I don't have too many complaints. For the price you get what you pay for, but this lens isn't great in low light.
For action shots it's wonderful, the USM is so fast. If this lens didn't have the USM it would be completely worthless.
If you need an inexpensive zoom lens for action shots this should be one of your serious considerations.
